thermal comfort condition in tehran

چکیده
physiologically thermal comfort condition is a limit of temperature and humidity. ,in which thermal control mechanism of human body is in its least activity . thermal comfort conditions not only have impact on sizes of heating and cooling equipment ,but also affects the thickness of insulation, and .energy, consumption of buildings. it is necessary to define thermal comfort condition for different climatic of iran , in order to maintain comfort for inhabitants and also col1sclveenergy. in this paper thermal comfort condition for tehran considering .energy conservation is introduced . the proposed thermal limits maintains proper internal conditions, reduces fossil fuel coltsumpti6n during cold periods and electrical energy in hot periods of year

Thermal comfort evaluation in Tehran metro using Relative Warmth Index
Underground railway systems, can generate heat from their operations to raise the temperatures of carriages and the station substantially. This may lead to passenger discomfort and complain especially in warm weather conditions that prevail in Tehran if underground environment is not cooled. Transportation air conditioning Committee of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and air-conditio...
متن کاملThermal comfort assessment in comfort-prone workplaces.
This paper's main issue is a strong advocacy in favour of an a priori classification of thermal environments that can be really functional to comfort assessment: Class 1, environments where comfort conditions can be established (comfort-prone environments), and Class 2, environments where this is not practically feasible. The former, which are also identified here as 'thermally unconstrained' e...
متن کاملThermal Comfort in Transition Spaces
Resource depletion and global warming dictate needs to reduce energy consumption, however energy used for the environmental space conditioning of buildings remains substantial; even in well-designed examples. Therefore the ways in which buildings are utilized, and occupant expectations of comfort in building environments should be researched to determine alternative means for optimizing perform...
متن کاملThermal comfort: multisensory interactions?
Experimentally, the effects of environmental conditions upon human capabilities have been studied most often through the imposition of a single stressor in isolation. Although it seems to be a common belief that thermal comfort can be influenced by concomitant stimulation of non-tactile sensorial modalities, few studies have succeeded in delineating non-tactile stimulations, which interact with...
متن کاملThermal Comfort and Productivity
This paper discusses the link between thermal comfort and productivity of office workers and presents some limited conclusions from a European field study of office buildings. The importance of productivity measurement and current methodologies of measurement are discussed and shortcomings highlighted. The paper concludes with an introduction to a new technology developed in Japan that may prov...
متن کاملThe human thermoneutral and thermal comfort zones: Thermal comfort in your own skin blood flow
Human thermoregulation is achieved via autonomic and behavioral responses. Autonomic responses involve 2 synchronous 'components'. One counteracts large thermal perturbations, eliciting robust heat loss or gain (i.e., sweating or shivering). The other fends off smaller insults, relying solely on changes in sensible heat exchange (i.e., skin blood flow). This sensible component occurs within the...
